Wednesday drizzle and dripping
kitten informs me that the evaporative cooler is dripping water since the repair man visited and fixed the broken solenoid on Friday afternoon, made arrangements for him to come back and check on the unit, he was supposed to come at 10am instead he was at the door at 9am, 10 minutes later he was on is way after checking the unit, saying it was within operating tolerances, but it might have a small leak if we ran it on it auto due to its operational dumping of water when it switches from cooling to fan and back to cooling, we apparently run it on manual so that wasn’t an issue. Whether kitten be happy with his analysis of the repair man or not l don’t know but he was confident it wasn’t a problem we should be worrying about it.
Over night apparently we had some very light rain, more of a drizzle than a rain shower a sort of wet moist fog, strange one minute it’s 43 degrees and now its like mist in the swamp monster movies weather, not sure how we are tracking towards the sunny just right beach weather kitten is expecting for the weekend.
There was a 4wd Power lines trip today, but the kick off time was 9am, so with the cooler man visit at 10am (9am) l couldn’t go for the drive in the Range Rover, will just have to wait for another opportunity to take the beast out on the tracks.
Today will have the pleasure of a nice lunch, turkey and bacon toasted salad sandwiches, the benefit of leftover roast from last night dinner, will have to keep an eye out for any future turkey breast sales at the Wannero Farmers Market, it was a great buy Ingham Turkey 1 kilo turkey breast for $5, wish l had more room in the freezer, l would have bought more breast parcels, better tasting than chicken and half the price.
On the job front, applied for another 2 jobs, one in country Victoria, they are offering re-location expenses, which is a bonus and the position is north of the divide about 3 hours from Melbourne and 40 minutes from the NSW border and the best wine region in Victoria and about 1 hour from the Snow fields and there is a direct rail link to Melbourne cost you about $35 to travel on the train, whilst it’s in a country town of about 40,000 people and not a major metropolitan city, it’s still a great location, again application been filed just a question of waiting on developments. The other job was a Perth based role, the job l fly to Melbourne for last week is on hold for a week as the next person l have to be interviewed by is away on leave, so nothing happening till next week on that front.
kitten still posting an entertaining series on her blog about life in Japan and the little quirks of language and culture, a bit of wetting the appetite for the trip, especially for the shots of the kinky Japanese girls, they make great fashion statements and photographic models, might get lucky on our trip and bump into them on the street, apparently they are regular sights on the weekends in certain spots. bit like the Goths on Hay St in Perth just over from the end of the Mall opposite the church from 4pm onwards, according to kitten we wont be in Tokyo on weekends that the girls are on parade, but maybe we can change our plans to make sure we see them in the flesh. Funnily the Telegraph newspaper in UK had a big series of articles on travelling to Japan and the food and sights to see and the Melbourne Age had an article on Japanese tech-no geeks seeking gizmos that are unique or individually styled or coloured to stand out as individuals in the mass market, said to kitten they were stealing her blog theme from her.
Last night kitten said her boss has offered to take her kayaking after work for a few hours and then having her shower and change at his house and going out for dinner with his wife for a meal in Subiaco before the wife leaves for Japan in March, she is having their first baby and she needs to travel before the pregnancy is so advanced that the airlines wont permit her to travel. Seems he will have to do the fly home to Japan to see the wife and baby for while until the company relocates him back to Japan to live and sends out a new Japanese dude to replace him in Perth, feel sorry for him, l hate doing FIFO for 3 weeks in between seeing kitten and he will have to go several months before he sees his first baby and wife, said to kitten we will have to the boss over for a few meals and bbqs once the wife is gone back to Japan.
Monday the door knockers
So kitten are settled back watching Brad Pitt in Inglorious Bastards, when the phone rings, a friend calls to talk to kitten about a spare part for a Japanese car, why phone kitten, well she lived in Japan might know of a part supplier, not quite sure how that one works out. We also get a quick update on the play party we missed on Saturday night, apparently a good turn out and few people playing with different scenes from canes, whips, using people’s bottoms for pin cushions and human dart boards to a fire scene, we will be missing the March party as well as we are to Japan when it will be normally held, so April is the next party we will be probably going to.
So we settle back to enjoy the movie and their is banging on the security door, l get up and put on some trousers and answer the door after putting on the security light, aboriginal female teenagers at the door, young girl asks me for some money as she needs to go to hospital, l say sorry cannot help her and close the door, there is feet running off into the night as the ones hiding out of sight around the corner from the door hear the answer and the move on down the street searching for money. I say to kitten l wonder how much vandalism we are going to suffer for refusing to give her some money, and we then resume watching the movie.
Movie had no historical sense or basis, was just pure escapism, bit gory in showing mutli scalping of dead bodies and few gruesome shootings and of course Brad Pitt acting capabilities don’t exist he is just scenery material, however for a change kitten sits there and watches the war shit to the end, guy playing the German SS colonel war criminal was reasonable in his intellectual explanation of why Germans hated Jews and his desire to betray his side in the movie.
kitten off to work the next couple days, but she did watch the long range forecast her only comment was that this coming weekend we seem to have be having some good beach weather, dropping a hint early to me about what she wants to be doing on the weekend, maybe she will get some sun and surf for a change maybe she wont. l don’t know how l am feeling about a trip to the beach.
Monday Home again
Yesterday at Melbourne airport a one hour wait in the queue to book onto the flight home to Perth at the Virgin check in, never seem to have a quick book in at Tullamarine, anyway walked down to the terminal gate for departure and a giant Antonov jet was just cruising down past the terminal window, too late for me to grab inside my bag and get the camera out for some pictures, but it was huge bigger than a jumbo jet surprised it could float down the runway so quietly whilst taxiing. Waited for the jet to load for the flight home to Perth had a window seat, l prefer the aisle seat easier to get out to the toilet, stretch your legs, grab something from the over head lockers etc, plane loaded up with passengers again another near full flight, nearly full but not quite, my row was empty except me, so l had the enjoyable experience of a row to myself for the 4 hour flight back to Melbourne, listened to the Commitments and Andrew Strong, the lead male vocalists from the Commitments on the iPod on the way home.
Flight landed about 5pm, got my bag and walked to the taxi stand, for once not a huge queue of people waiting for taxi, walked virtually straight to the taxi rank and got into the taxi, l always look at the driver and the picture of the driver mounted on the sun visor of the taxi, today they weren’t the same driver. Yeah both picture of the driver and the driver were from Africa, both were curly haired and dark skinned, well the picture guy was in his 40’s had a bearded and was nearly bald, the driver was taller skinny, almost pitch black and was in 20’s with afro, probably not even the same the mother, he was listening to the overseas English broadcast of the BBC and he drove reasonably well and kept to himself, so l decided not to ask what had frightened him so much to have such a radical change in appearance from his license.
Got home just after 5:30pm, kitten was naked kneeling on the hallway floor wearing her red pvc, stiletto thigh boots, l walked past her and put my bags down on the kitchen table, hooked my camera to the iMac and started to downloaded the camera from my stay, there were about 150 pictures and 3 short videos to download, walked back past the kitchen counter top and put the Starbucks Coffee Bean bags down and then walked up behind kitten and began stroking her magnificent bottom with my hands, l love the shape of her bum and the soft texture of her skin. After a few minutes l slapped her bottom and told her to get on my bed, l walked into my bathroom for a pee, noticed my bathroom window had large cracks in it and an impact star point, either a bird had died crashing into the window or a stone had smashed into it whilst l was away in Melbourne, kitten said she had noticed it yesterday whilst cleaning my bathroom. kitten then informed me that the water chiller was no longer chilling water, it’s the third water chiller to fail since l bought the first one in 2006, we have in the past had them fail within one year of purchase and had them replaced under the 1 year guarantee warranty by Sunbeam, think this one has actually gone slightly longer than the warranty so it’s a buy a new one deal, the best thing about it is the filter for the water it really does remove the chemical taste from the water more so than chilling the water, the dishwasher is leaking water when run, so things have gone to the shit at home whilst l was away in Melbourne enjoying myself.
Had a nice ravishing session with kitten in my bed and we chatted awhile about her time alone and what l had done whilst away and she also managed to fit in some Japan trip talk as well, again some more trip revisions discussions, talk about visiting a Tokyo housing museum, showing different periods of housing styles from across Japan, a theme park where the Ferris wheel doesn’t have a centre and is the 8th largest in the world, a restaurant offering a 2 hour all you can eat crab buffet. Once we were done playing and relaxing and talking l suggested we get some KFC for dinner, so we got dressed and drove down to the KFC store for a $18.95 dinner box, 10 pieces of the hot crunchy chicken and 2 large chips for dinner and settled back to watch tv, kitten decided to go update her travel blog series to Japan for something to do, whilst l watched the new episodes of Bones and Castle, kitten says she has taped The Seeker and Dexter for us to watch on Monday.
About 11.30pm l head for bed and kitten comes for some more Japan travel talk, she is all buzzy and excited more discussions on altering our plans to fit other things on, she is getting excited about going in 5 weeks time, l don’t think she is going to survive the excitement and is going to pop like a champagne cork shortly.
Saturday still in Melbourne
Flew over to Melbourne Wednesday morning, woke up at 4am to catch the 6am flight to Melbourne, it landed Melbourne time 6:40am and l waited for my single piece of luggage to come off the plane and enter the luggage carousal for about 20 minutes, never seem to be able to get my luggage off the plane and into my hand in a reasonable time, no matter where l fly or who l fly with, once l had to wait over an hour for the luggage to disgorge onto the luggage pick up point, nothing pisses me off more than standing there watching all the other passengers seemingly collecting luggage and walking out the terminal door to get on with their lives and l am still standing about waiting for the luggage to arrive and even pisses me off l normally travel with an over night bag, nothing big or heavy or complex compared to what l have seen other people struggle out the door with.
Caught the taxi to the job interview place, and then chatted for 3 hours with the prospective National employer, all seemed to go well, have to wait and see if l get the job or not, have to do another face to face interview with the Perth manager would be working with, so wait and see, if l get the job it would probably be 4 weeks before l take off to Japan with kitten for a fortnight, they didn’t seem to mind about that, but there is no way of delaying or cancelling the trip to Japan unless l wanted to face a total revolt from kitten, l would have to sleep in armour mail with both eyes wide open to be safe from her revenge attacks if l even thought of cancelling the trip for what ever reason.
Thursday went to Keyton with Dad to see my oldest friend, who lives in Macedon and runs a restaurant in Keyton, we had lunch with him, something simple a hamburger with beer battered chips, dad enjoyed the chips, asked my friend how he had cooked them to get them so crunchy and crisp. While we were there l took some video of my friend cooking in his kitchen a constant image of movement as he prepared the lunch orders as they came in, moving effortlessly from the grill and hot plates to the fridges in the kitchen getting ingredients, putting them in fry pans or on the hot plate and assembling the meals on plates and having the waiting staff take the orders out. While l was waiting for my friend to finish cooking, another old school friend came in to place his lunch order, if l had passed him on the street l wouldn’t have recognised him, he hasn’t aged well, l had my back to him and so l avoided having to say hello and do the awkward what have you been doing since school speech, l haven’t seen or spoken to him in 24 years, never stayed in contact over the years, never even thought about him or what he might be doing and l am sure he was doing the same not thinking about me at the same time, so l wasn’t being rude l was simply saving us both some wasted time and awkward embarrassment, while he was filling in his time waiting for his lunch order to be filled. My friend filled me in on the guy details anyway, left school, became a policeman, specialised in road traffic enforcement on the motorbike squad, came a Sargent in traffic enforcement and then swapped to the IT department and left the force to set up his own business consulting IT networks to schools and then folded that business up and now works as the IT manager for the local council, married a Ansett air hostess, got divorced after having a couple kids. What did l need to speak to the guy for, proving my point that if you don’t keep in contact with people or they with you there is a usually a sound and valid reason, they don’t matter to you, so why bother finding out about them, when you bump into them by accident.
While dad and l was enjoying a pleasant lunch with my friend and having a drive in a rainy countryside around hanging rock and Mount Macedon, mum on the other hand had disappeared with her cronies at 7am for a 5 hour bus ride to Delinquinn in NSW to pay the pokies, if your going to play the pokies l could have thought about some places in prettier spots, or even ones closer to home, but they enjoyed the bus ride in the country, and mum won both at the pokies but also the on board raffles, so she was happy and l think she was even happier having a day out with dad.
Yesterday we went off in search for some spare parts for the Bissell carpet cleaner, l had to get dad to drive me across town, mum came to for the ride, eventually we ended out at Scoresby as the parts warehouse was no longer located where it was listed on the guarantee notice, got the part l wanted but the replacement service department supplied me with a complete replacement of not only the busted belt but new brushes and brush housing, while l was there l got the addresses of a couple Bissell service agents in Perth, so if anything happens in the future a trip to Melbourne won’t be necessary.
Then we bought lunch on the way home, mum had 1/4 chicken and chips, dad just had chips from mum’s huge serving from the local chicken place, never seen so many chips as part of serving, l went next door to get some Flake (shark) and potato cakes, but there was a queue and l didn’t know whether dad wanted me to buy chips or not so l went next door to ask him, he had already ordered chips, noticed they had potato cakes in the chicken and chips place for 40 cents apiece and that was 20 cents cheaper than the fish and chip shop, so l ordered 6 potato cakes and forgot about the flake. Perth doesn’t have the same quality potato cakes as Melbourne, l think Melbourne must be the potato cake capital of Australia, elsewhere they are called scallops not cakes, if you can’t get the name right how can you be expected to cook it right. Anyway l smothered the potato cake sin the brown paper bag with tomato sauce from the shop counter while dad paid the lady behind the counter the $2.40and by the time we had driven home they had been eaten, l had some fried eggs and baked beans and shared in mum’s chips from her chicken and chips order.
After lunch we went outside under the veranda, mum made some dough and mixed up ricotta and eggs with chopped parsley and whilst dad operated the electric pasta rolling machines and l laid it across the ravioli moulds, filled the holes with ricotta mix and then covered them with another sheet of pasta dough and then turned the mould over and emptied the ravioli onto a floured board and cut them out and put them onto floured boards and into the freezer to set, 16 ravioli to a board, we made 25 dozen from 3 kilo of ricotta mixture, we had some dough left over so we made 6 dozen prawn ravioli as well.
Today dad drove me into Melbourne and l bought 3 packets of house blend Star Bucks coffee beans from the Swantson st store for kitten set me back $30, this time l didn’t buy any other Starbucks merchandise like oversize coffee mugs, kitten will be happy with having Star Buck beans in the house again for her morning brew of coffee for her brekkie.Mum and dad are going out to a dance tonight so l will be home alone and tomorrow afternoon l catch the flight home to Perth, so my little unexpected trip to Melbourne is over, nice to have someone else pay for your family and friend re-unions.
Monday off to Melbourne
Got the call this morning from Melbourne, they are going to fly me across for a face to face interview on Wednesday, good news means l can see my parents before the Japan trip in March at someone else expense, so going to stay in Melbourne until Sunday and fly back to Perth, means l will miss the February play party on Saturday night, kitten doesn’t mind missing the party, a night of naked exposure and beating, wonder if it means l get any brownie points for that. Will also see if l can arrange to catch up with friends and get a meal in Melbourne with them while l am there.
Called several repair places today to look at the evaporative cooler, it is dumping water constantly when turned off, obviously a solenoid gone in it somewhere, no body seems available to look at it till next week, 7 days of leaking water isn’t my idea of a good thing, have managed to get onto a repair place who might be able to come earlier, waiting on the service dude to call back, hopefully he can come earlier than next week.
kitten and l have to see if we can pack our clothes for the Japan trip in the smallest possible luggage containers as we are travelling around Japan down south and we don’t want to be carting big bags about with us on trains, buses etc, this is where having the knowledge of someone who has lived in Japan for 10 years like kitten has come in handy. We intend on buying a bigger luggage container in Japan to bring the things kitten wants to buy back to Australia, we have 20 kgs each in luggage allowance and 7ks each in carry on luggage allowance, kitten wants to bring back some Japance grocery stuff for the pantry, so we will try and pack all the food in one bag and then declare it on return to Australia to customs, other bag will be filled with books and music cd’s she wants to get and some things for me like ceramic cooks knives. Only really gadget thing l want is a water proof container for the camera so it can take photos under water to depths of 30 metres, it will allow kitten to take photos whilst snorkelling over reefs in future or swimming with manta rays or whale sharks.
After kitten’s little photo shoot yesterday, thought we could arrange a photo shoot for one of our future monthly luncheon, discussed the idea with our male Dom friend who used to be a professional photographer, he agreed would be a good idea and that several of our subbie girls have expressed an interest to him about getting some photos done by him, so we could set the studio lights etc under the kitchen veranda and do a shoot over a meal, something to do after our Japan trip, kitten did say have to be a couple months after as she would be munching down in Japan and getting chunky.
Sunday sexy kitten
Well we didn’t get to the beach, instead friends came around and brought some cake, so we had coffee, tea or coke in tall glasses on ice, depending on what the individual preferred, l had some of my egg, bacon and onion pie, the filling was delicious but the pastry wasn’t flakey, more like scotch short bread and too crumbly, still totally edible just leave the pastry on the plate, which has got to be good for the waist line, better luck next time l make it.
While our friends were here we had a little fashion display, they had just purchased her next slutty play party outfit a black single piece top outfit going from boobies to just above her bum line, leaving hints of pussy and bum, matched to a pair of white stockings with red ribbons, very slutty looking and now all she needs is some black suspenders to blend the outfit together, photos were taken while the slut was posed with various hair displays.
Talk then turned to kitten wardrobe for the next play party, l was favouring a return to the pony girl, head harness and bit, arms in black leather arm binder, red leather bustier and of course boots, kitten view was she should be allowed to wear something new for the party, she favoured a black tutu, a black and white lace corset and black thigh high pvc side lace boots with a six inch heel. Of course that meant she had to go put the outfit on and model it, minutes later she emerged all slutty looking and of course demands were then made for another photo shoot, she got posed standing and laying on the table and an adventurous shot of a peeled mango held between her thighs, with our friend subbie girl munching on the mango. All very artistic and fun afternoon of girls parading their slutty wear and posing for the pictures and a discussion on why men love slutty subbie women over gorgeous model women as the slutty subbie women, provide better sexual satisfaction and service.
Dinner tonight is Satay Thai Turkey slices with rice, recipe fairly simple, turkey breast slices, marinated in satay sauce, of pureed onion, garlic, soy sauce and chilli sauce with ginger and than pan fried and served on a bed of rice.
Sunday Mango madness
Woke up at 9am and had porridge for breakfast, kitten had her usual spanish omelette the girl lives on chillies l am sure, went to the shops to get some essentials, l am baking an egg, bacon and onion pie and l didn’t have enough unsalted butter for the pastry, bought some more plain flour as well as the last we had in the pantry went into the pie crust. We needed some more eggs, got 3 dozen 600 grams eggs for $1.89 dozen and bag of tomatoes for $1.99 and kitten managed to find some Tofu on special as well. While we were out l bought a box of mangoes from the green grocer in the shopping mall for $20 for 15 mangoes and then got an even better buy in the Vietnamese shop a box of mangoes for $8.95, so Sunday is officially mango madness day. kitten decided to take the opportunity to walk home from the shops a 40 minute journey so l drove home alone and unloaded the Range Rover of it’s shopping, wind is dying down so might venture to the beach this afternoon, see if weather conditions are better for a paddle today compared to yesterday.
Mangoes l will sort and put the larger ones in the fridge and might convert the others into some more bags of 300 grams of fruit for the freezer for later in the year when mangoes go out of season.
Last night flicked through my salad and buffet cook book for ideas for finger food for the next luncheon party we are having in February and that party should also be fun as the girls are organising a mass Brazilian Waxing as one of them does waxing for a living and has offered to wax the others for free, kitten is waiting to see how many of the boys queue up for a waxing treatment on the day, my thoughts are zero to none are going to be volunteering to get done on the day.
Saturday beach aborted
Well after coming back from Dianella, fixing up the new flight schedule we had a quick lunch of fruit salad and then got changed and headed to the beach at Hilary’s, lovely sunny day, good temperature of 31 degrees, but wind was blowing a gale whipping sand off the beach into our faces, the waves were white capping, totally unpleasant, but we were brave and headed for the water figuring that the sand wouldn’t be blowing in our faces when we were in the wet stuff.
Got over the fine white sand, the beach was basically deserted, a group of about 6 kids all under 12 were in the shallows, jumping into the waves as they crashed the shoreline, water was cool and pleasant, but the water had tremendous undertow, by the time l got to knee deep water l decided it was time to head out of the water and back to the beach. Disappointed for kitten, her first beach trip this summer and over and done with in ten minutes, she was wearing a lovely 2 piece lavender purple bathers she bought in Bali years ago on her honey moon, l had great pleasure of applying sun lotion to her body, on her back, arms and neck and of course the most important part of sun tanning lotion application the boobies, they got a couple of layers of sun tan lotion application.
When we got out of the water we headed back up the foreshore and sat on the park benches near the car park, watching the Rottenest ferry crash back to Hilary Harbour through the waves, kitten indicated she wanted to go over the island one day after the end of school holidays, l told her make it a girlies day out as l wasn’t that keen on going to the island, kitten said it would be fun snorkelling and swimming for the day, l hope it would be for $62 per person.
WE talked over the new flight arrangements to Kuala Lumper, the hotels we could be booked into are both near the airport, but we can catch the train line into town we have 12 hours during the day to fill before we catch our on going flight to Tokyo that night. kitten indicated there are 3 large malls she wants to go and see while we are there and also we should plan a holiday to Malaysia as the airfares from Perth are under $400, the Hotels are under $100 a night and the food is dirt cheap, so yeah why not go and spend time there instead of $2000 plus travelling by road for 10 hours to Coral Bay and staying 5 nights in motel, something to think about and we both have current passports now and l will have my permanent resident visa so l can flick in and out of the country, you never know l might get adventurous enough one day to go to Bali even.
Tonight for dinner decided on curry marina pasta for dinner, bit of seafood, some pasta and curry a good combination to go with some chilled mango l think whilst chilling out watching Foxtel
Saturday sunny warm 37 degrees
Friday went down to Morley to collect kitten from her post work shopping trip for a new handbag, she didn’t make a purchase, she was torn between her favourite but expensive handbag for $186 and a frugal bag across the road in another shop for $99, frugal or what she likes, my advice to her in the car was, when it comes to a girlies hand bag always buy what you really like as you’ll never be happy to carry about what was frugal instead.
We then drove to our favourite Vietnamese restaurant for dinner near home, kitten ordered the curry seafood noodle soup, l went for the fried chilli squid and fried prawn wonton entrees with the fried chicken and fried rice main dish, we both had the Thai red bean jelly drinks, which is a mixture of tropical fruits, sea weed jellies, ice and coco nut milk, a multi layered flavour delight and of course the pot of tea. As always the food was delightful and cheap $40 for the both of us, we stopped next door and looked into the closed Indian Restaurant and read the meal options, no pricing available and saw that it doesn’t re-open until next week from it’s shut down over Christmas, menu was interesting enough to warrant a meal there in the near future.
This morning we have to go to the travel agents, Malaysian airlines have cancelled our flight to Japan, due to some runaway construction work at Perth Airport, instead we are now flying out a day early and they are putting us up at a Hotel in Kuala Lumper for the night and we catch our scheduled flight from there to Tokyo the following day as planned. Means we get a night sleep in a Hotel bed instead of sleeping on board a plane and a day in town looking at the Malls instead of sitting in a plane and spending an hour in the airport departure lounge for an hour waiting for the connecting flight to Tokyo.
kitten friend in Tokyo sent her some recent Japanese tour books of what is happening in Tokyo, the recommended places to eat have their signature dishes photographed, so whilst l can’t read a word about where the restaurant is and what the prices are, the dishes looks scrummy, we have selected meals we would like from the book, the magazines also covered the other places we were planing to go on this trip and train and bus time tables, so all good for kitten trip planning resources.
Went to bed relatively early last night about 9:30 pm, so l listened to the Drifters, played about 40 tracks of 1950s african american male pop love songs, nothing like love songs sung in harmony is there to make you go to sleep in a happy frame of mind. Woke about 6am and turned off the house cooler, about 30 minutes later kitten came in and woke me up, l thought how lucky was l, naked slave girl booted and in my bed at 6:30am, instead she told me that the air conditioner had been discharging water constantly when she turned it off several times during the night keeping her awake last night and so she had turned it back on again and she went back to her bed to resume sleeping. l don’t know what disappointed me more the fact that l am up for repair costs on the cooling system this week or the fact that l didn’t get any naked booted slave girl time in my bed this morning.
Breakfast this morning was the mix of the cold and the tropics had porridge and a mango for afters, difference in texture and tastes, wonder why somebody hasn’t come up with a mango porridge mix for the breakfast market yet.
Thursday Feel the Love
Went to the Doctors yesterday, blood pressure fine, cholesterol fine, problems with blood sugars being too high, so l have started a weight loss program, sure that makes kitten happy knowing she can measure and count my calories, she loves that sort of thing, so Calorie King has said for my sedentary lifestyle 2000 calories a day too lose weight, so back to the Doctors in a fortnight, will see how l have progressed in managing to lower my blood sugars. Doctor added a new pill to the series of white things of large and small dimensions l have to take at meal times
Had a telephone interview today for a Perth based role, people l were talking to were in Melbourne and we chatted for 50 minutes to the National HR Manager for the division and the Recruitment Manager, felt the love through the conversation, waiting on further developments in the recruitment steps, obviously they have other people to talk to and short list to pick from, but l made it to the short list stage and they will come back to me on a face to face interview as well as going on site and meeting the State Manager who l would be working with on a daily basis, so that seems promising, nothing on the FIFO roles but that’s not surprising given how major construction projects are either flat out or nothing.
Today nice warm day 34 degrees, had the house cooler on and ceiling fans circulating and put a few mangoes in the fridge to chill down to have at dinner time, might play some Modern Warfare 4 this afternoon to finish off the collection of enemy intel tasks, will be watching Eureka at 4.30 and then Dexter and l am sure sometime this evening after kitten comes home she will be talking to me about going for a walk around the block.
House keeping tasks on the list of things to do, couple loads of clothes washing and running the dishwasher, relatively easy tasks but tasks that gains me a few brownie points with kitten in terms of having a made a contribution to the house keeping responsibilities.
kitten agrees next monthly luncheon with friends should be a finger food party, so will look at the recipe books for some finger foods and high tea sandwiches and scones and cakes that we can make and serve on platters during the course of the day, whilst the girls have their Brazilian waxing done.
