Mistress called today from her Grandmother’s house in country NSW, she had arrived home yesterday morning, flying into her country town airport to be greeted by her entire family, including the “The Ian” ( her father, whom she does not enjoy a father daughter relationship). So far she has had lunch at the RSL club in town with her family and spent some time alone with her older sister, having girl time talking about their respective jobs and lives. Her favourite bakery in town is currently closed, for summer holidays but re-open sometime during her 2 week stay, so she might still score some german bread from the bakery, a loaf which she particularly likes as it is chewy, hard crust multi grain bread.

Mistress bought a 4 gig dongle from Big W before departing Perth, so she could continue to have internet access, as her Grandmother does not have a computer in her house and no internet connection. Unfortunately it isn’t working and despite the best efforts of the Mumbai support centre it doesn’t seem to respond to any of their suggestions, so tomorrow she is off to test it at the telecommunications support shop and if necessary exchange it for a new one, of course there  is a possibility it could be the simple problem of her Grandmother house being in a telecommunications black spot.

Mistress indicated her social calendar includes dinner at the Thai restaurant in town with her family on Tuesday night. I rattled my collar chain to prove to Mistress l had remained collared in her absence, she had left the key to my collar padlock on my computer desk for when l needed to remove it to attend any potential job interviews in her absence.

I told her weather was mid 30′s in Perth, Mistress informed, it was below 20 where she was and raining. l didn’t have the heart to tell her this week Perth is expected to spend the coming week in the mid 30′s to 40 range in her absence, she hates the cold weather.

Petrol prices continue to amaze me last couple days they have been around $1.47 litre, just checked Fuel Watch site and Fuel tomorrow is averaging $1.41 and a petrol station near by will have the cheapest fuel at $1.34 and l have a 8c cent discount voucher so it will be $1.26, so will go fill the Range Rover in the morning after breakfast before it gets too hot. How it can be legal for fuel companies to vary fuel prices so much over a couple of days and doesn’t constitute price gouging activity baffles me.
